The Coffee Shop / Purple Martins
« on: April 03, 2014, 07:27:56 am »
No martins yet.   Saw two flying but didn't stop.   Some the last several years always show up too early in March.   I normally have more than 100.    The last couple years with the heat has been rough on mine.  Have 8 houses.   Even the sparrows and starlings seem to be less.

Picked and ate my first tomato yesterday.   Sorry I didn't share it with you.  Also have been picking tame blackberries, dewberries, and a few boysenberries.  Beets, beets. and more beets.  Stayed tuned for further news.
