Terry Lee Hopper, 69, of Winfield, Kansass, passed away November 3, 2019 at William Newton Hospital in Winfield, Kansas. Born December 24, 1949 in El Dorado, Kansas, he was the son of Francis Leland and Ada B. (Walthall) Hopper.
Terry was raised in Winfeld and lived at home with his mother until her passing in 2010 when he went to live at Capper Foundation in Winfield. He enjoyed watching old western movies and TV shows and listening to music. He enjoyed spending time with his roommates, Ryan and Ron, as well as the staff at Capper Foundation.
His family includes his brothers, Jerry (Donna) Hopper, John (Cathy) Hopper, and Glenn Hopper; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Hopper.
Family graveside service was held on November 5, 2019 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola, Kansas. Miles Funeral Service, 4001 E. 9th Street, Winfield, Kansas 67156 was in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
