Charles J. Woods Jr., age 82, passed away June 23, 2017.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna (Frawner); children, Randy (Carol) Woods, Ron Woods, and Melanie (Dean) Herman; grandchildren, Colby and Caleb Woods, Kelsey (Andrew) Jarvis, Kyle Woods, Erica (Brandon) Morrow, Kristy (Tyler) Shirley, and Mackenzie Herman; five great-grandchildren; five brothers; two sisters; and a loving extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Edna Woods, and two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2017 at Smith Mortuary-Derby, 1415 N Rock Road in Derby, Kansas with family greeting from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Elk Falls Cemetery in Elk Falls, Kansas on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society, 330 S. Main Street, #100, Wichita, Kansas.
