This could have been a tragic story indeed. There was heroism from pilot to passengers to rescuers that got these 155 people out of the 35 degree water of the Hudson river. Fantastic ending!  angel angel

Did you get to see it as it was happening?  They broke in on the last of my soap opera with the "breaking news" and stayed with it for quite a while.  One of the ABC morning news people has an apartment that looks out over the river and she saw the plane come down.  They had her watching with binoculars and telling what she could see.  ABC will probably have quite a bit tomorrow morning, too.

Wilma, sorry but I did not see it until late this afternoon. I have not been watching much news these past few weeks, but was certainly pleased when I heard about this. We have so many tragedies that this just was very special.
