Youth Development Coordinator Hired

Yesterday at the Elk Co Commission meeting, we voted to hire Laura Fry as the Economic Development Director and Youth Development Coordinator.  She has gladly accepted the position.  Laura has recently moved here from Missouri having married Zach Fry of Elk Falls.  Zach is the son of Steve & Jane Fry - Elk Falls Pottery.  We are excited to have Laura on board, although she officially won't start until Jan 2009.  I hope everyone will assist Laura in whatever way possible.  This is a great opportunity for our youth and for our county.  Stay with us as we grow!

Looking forward to meeting Laura, did not know she and Zach moved into the area. This is cause for double celebrating.
