Whoa! Good job, Teresa!

We are supposed to get the big 17-year swarm here this year, Diane, but I have not heard even one peep from a single cicada so far. Maybe the Global Warming** situation has them confused. By this time last year the regular ones were starting to make noise.

** "Global Warming" is not a very good name for this dangerous phenomenon, in my not-so-humble opinion (IMNSHO). That sounds like something friendly, like a description for a comfy sweater, or the perfect furnace filter. If they are going to get anybody's attention here, they are going to have to come up with a new name. For example, "Global Weather Catastrophe" is a better description. Or maybe "Worldwide Dangerous Weather Pattern" would work.

Any ideas? Help me out, here.

Teresa, great job with the photos. Thanks for identifying so many. Some of names are known to me. Lou Wiseman rented pastureland from my father. All the Dentons are known to my family. Some are shoots off the same family tree. Now I've got to get one of those Howard Fire Company tee shirts!!

I'm so glad that you like the slide shows and video's.
I love to do them ..but are they ever a pain in the ass..! hahahahaha
Whew~~
I thought that this slideshow would take me about ohhhh maybe 3-4 hrs tops!.. WRONG~~
Jeeeseee... I worked over 8 hours on the blasted thing..
but I am soooo picky and I did some things that I hadn't done before which took more time..

But I just love to do them..and I am learning so much..so that is fun too. And if you all are enjoying them.. well shoot.. that makes it all worth while..

Sorry that the video is taking so long to d/l.
 That is my fault!
Kjell told me that it was too long and he wanted to make it in 2 parts... Buuuutttt.. I kind of threw a hissy fit and said I wanted it all in one.. so he did it my way.. and as much as I hate to admit it...
 he was right..( again)

So once again.. My apologies for the length of it.. I will know now that we have to keep them under a certain size so you won't be all day d/l them.

((HE already knew it.. Undecided Embarrassed ))
