A Veteran has been receiving 9,855 prescription pills every year from the VA for an unknown illness contracted in Afganistan. He has gone to Colorado to smoke pot and feels much better when he does.

How many of those pills might not be needed if he could grow and smoke pot just like he can grow and eat tomatoes? How many billions of dollars might the taxpayer be spared if the VA was truly responsible to the Veterans' health issues?
