Ina B. Speer, 80, died Tuesday in Greenwood County Hospital, Eureka. She was born March 15, 1903, in Tuscola, Ill., to Alfred and Lillian (Saunders) Wucherpfenig. She married Paul Speer Dec. 22, 1935 in Howard. They lived in the Fairview community of Elk County, Girard and Winfield before moving to Severy in 1964. She was a member of the Severy United Methodist church.

Mrs. Speer is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Merry of Sioux Falls, S. D.; one brother, Ray Wucherpfenig of Howard; two sisters, Esther Morgan and Marjorie Simpson, both of Howard; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday in Zimmerman Funeral Home, Howard, by the Rev. Paul Lynn. Interment will be in Grace Lawn cemetery, Howard.
