Pulled the plug!
«

Thursday was my last day of work. Had my retirement party on the 18th. I got a fancy shadowbox with my badge, bars and shoulder patch along with a nice sentiment. Then a Stainless Colt 1911 Series 80 with the dept logo inlaid in the grips that the fellers and gals had chipped in for. Dang near brought a tear to my eye.
We're closing on the property in Colorado next week then it's adios to sunny Florida. By springtime BOLD World Headquarters will be located in the heart of the West! Yeehaaaa!
Ennybody want to buy a house down here?

Good for you Utah Bob. I had mixed feelings when I approached my retirement, but I enjoy it too much now. If it looks like real work I avoid it now.
Look at the bright side. In Colorado your house may be snowed in, but it will still be there.

Congratulations, sir. I'm still too far from retirement to think about it, but I wish you a long and active "rest".
