Lemonsqueezers legal?
« on: August 13, 2004, 03:12:23 AM »
I was just wondering.  The grip safety outfitted breaktops.  Are they legal as pocket pistols in side matches?  My brain hurts!  LOL

Thank you!  Moot question as it turns out.  The one I went to look at was a POJ.  It needed a front sight, a barrel and there was 0 finish left.  The pearl grips were missing chunks and the heels were broken off.  Waste of time.

The spare parts for these little guns - and pretty much every other pocket pistol are in other folks' revolvers.

Spare parts are a "good thing", so if you can buy it priced accordingly, it's worth it.

Grips are another thing to be on the lookout for - those old hard-rubber ones are often fractured.

They aren't a real picnic to work on, but they're not all that hard, either - as long as you're patient.

One of the beauties of Lemonsqueezers and the like is that there are vast quantities of the things out there - still living in desk drawers, so finding a good one isn't too tough.

I have two 32 S&Ws and a 38 S&W.  I am looking around.  The price was $150.00 and I considered it poor for a parts source.  I need a New Departure and a Centennial to complete a collection.
