Looking at a Vax upright and understand that they are common in Europe and Australia.
Can anyone give me some feedback and/or opinions on these machines?
Don't want to get stuck with another Vorwerk-type piece of crud.

Forty Rod. Vax are O/K. Got one down here it's call Sadie, same type had it over 20years good in shed picks up all them old primers and great for the car to. The one I have will pick up any wet and dry material.

I went and priced a couple today.
I'VE SPENT HALF MY LIFE DRIVIN' CARS THAT DIDN'T COST ME THAT MUCH!!!
I guess I'll swing by Salvation Army or Goodwill and pick up a used one.

In case ya don't see post on other wire:
Dyson is the "kind", you won't believe how clean it leaves stuff. And when I got home last nite, saw in the new Big Lots ad they have factory reconditioned Dysons for $279....that is only 1/2 a
