It happened...
« on: January 12, 2006, 10:33:15 PM »
Folks,

Many of you know I am involved in woodworking. Suffice to say, I have opened my own cabinet shop. I and my partner (who is the sales guy) currently have two employees, with Number 3 to start on Monday. The reason for writing is to express my happiness at landing a BIG contract with some builders. My partner has known these two fine Irish gents a long time and now since he is involved with me in this venture, they have elected to see fit to award us with a cabinetry contract for 55 kitchens and bathrooms in their latest condo complex to the tune of $130,000.00.

Not too shabby for a company that has been in actual operation for only six weeks.

With this contract, we are rapidly approaching $250,000.00 in gross revenue for the year. I am predicting once the weather warms up, we may hit the $1,000,000.00 mark by 1 September or much sooner, given my partner can sell snow eskimos...

I want to thank those who have come to personally know me for their support. Without your encouragement, I may never have reached this point. May your previous blessings continue to shine down on all in the American Custom Woodworking family...

I hope this explains my "absences" a bit more...
Your humble, obedient servant,

David P. Barrett
