DD/PRS Boolit Experimentation

I shot the DD/PRS .458" boolit at 100, 200, and 300 yds in my Rolling Block on Sunday afternoon. I had no keyholing out to 300 yds, so those fears can be set aside. I will post some pictures once I get them uploaded from the camera.

Here is my 300 yd "group". At this time the sun was going down and the target was facing east. I could not see the 8" black circle, so I was just aiming at the cardboard.

I broke the firing pin on my Roller and have not been able to do anymore with this slug.

Anyone know where a good place to obtain Pedersoli parts is?

I ordered a pair of them, jist in case!

After looking at some older Rollers I note that some originals have a much stouter pin than others. Checking with an aging pard of mine, who has fergotten more about guns than I ever hope to learn, I found out that a lot of original had thier pins replaced by owners/gunsmiths with a heavier pin just because of the inherant weakness in that tiny little thing. I may condsider this if I break another one!!
