I have been called a Wombat at times. They would call me that around the same time as being called a numbat or numnuts (whatever do they mean  ). A wombat is a nuggety little critter. Been known to cause cars to end wrong side up when struck (then the dang things walk away). TT, just think of it as a compliment. A lovable creature unless annoyed, and can then they get mean - and I KNOW you are not like that!!!!. See you guys at Newtec on the 15th ?. Regards |

Hey Camille, I think Dakota may have lost ya with this Wombat thing. When you and Stump come over I'll take you to a wildlife park,20mins from home and you'll see Wombats,Roos, Emus,Dingos etc etc an a heap of different native birds snakes and lizards. It' a good day out and you can handle some of 'em, Koalas and all. DD and his bride may come with us then, you've got to see Sydney Harbour, not braggin but the best in the world. To all our Pards & Pardettes Down Under,
I always read and enjoy the posts here and I hope to get there someday, and now after reading C.E.'s comments wonder if it might be worth some tentative discussion about a 'charter trip' for all of us Northern Pokes that want to travel Down Under to participate in your outstanding Shoots? Not necessarily next year, but start the concept and build on it for say, four or five years down the road? I dunno, maybe sooner, but that way, everybody that wants to go can start saving up and we can figure out how to get all our stuff over when we get there, DHL or somesuch.
Well, just a thought, I know I've read where Dai S. Loe and a few of his Pards might be coming up North in a year or so, maybe, and I hope to help them have a grand time and set up a return trip. What the heck, we all have a grand time shooting together, so why not 'go for it'?!

Hey there Pard's now you're talkin, That idea has gone thru my mind a number of times but that was as far as it got. Let's all put our heads togeather and do some serious thinkin on the matter, and throw a heap of idea's into the ring and see what we can come up with. We'd love to see ya get down and visit us Ol Gabe and you too Bristow Kid and the more we could get interested,well that's when you can start looking at sensible prices etc. I got some stuff in the mail to you a week ago Camille, so pass 'em around and it may get a few more thinking about it, but one off it costs plenty and even worse for us whith the exchange rate difference. Tex I got it yesterday or the day before. I found it sitting on the front porch today. We never use the front porch so I missed it.  Haven't opened it yet, waiting for Stump to get home in case we have to kill something that comes out of it. |
