Those of you who are wearing these, how do you like them? I can't find them on the Durango site, but one of the pards here put up a link to caboots.com where they go for $130.

If you are talking about the mule ear boots, that Durango imports from China, they can be purchased with a $20 discount for SASS members (resulting total of $130) from Fort Frontier. They even have them in giant economy sizes.

I got a pair from The Fort maybe five months back and wear them every day.

Noticed something wonderful about them (besides needing a "break-in" walk of about 90 feet to the mail box and back): the insole of the boots has outlasted any I ever owned before.  Most break down or fall out in a couple of weeks and have to be replaced.  Most comfortable western boots I ever owned.

The tops fit under my Levis or I can tuck 'em in.

If I could find some dress ropers that fit that well and held I'd buy 'em in a heartbeat.

Del's gonna look for me after New Years.

Those seem to be the boots, guys. I wonder if the Fort gives a discount to NCOWS members. I plan to join, but have let my SASS membership expire.

As Del said, YES!!  NCOWS members DO get the same discount.

Call Del (Glen) or Terry (Terry Wink) at work - The Fort Old West Shop.  1-800-327-5567, ext. 199,  10:00 am to 8:00 pm (Central Time) M-F.  I'm not sure of their Sat & Sun hours, but they're open.  GREAT  folks to do business with.

I hope this isn't too commercial, just tryin' to steer a pard in the right di-rek-shun!

Merry Christmas, y'all !!!
