Dont be so unkind to to lady that had the servere misfortune to have to give birth to you both.

I see now why she is in confinement.

Have they ever managed to find a tailor to shorten the sleeves on that jacket?

Post Script

You will have to put up with me for a while now. Week before Christmas and the docs just put me on the sick for another 2 weeks.

It seems that I didnt break my collarbone, I've ruptured the muscles to the AC joint and I need an operation to repair them.

Oh wonderful. Just what I really wanted Santa to bring me

STITCHES.

I like to keep it original.  Very original:  I wear pelts and only hurl stones.

Hurl ???

Hurl as in throw using your arm

or the

common usage here

to hurl

as in to chuck your ringpiece up past your tonsils.?

I was implying that I throw stones.  However, I have done my share of bowing to the porcelain goddess. ;D ;D ;D

If y'all are talkin' about being knee-walkin', commode-huggin', callin'-for-Ralph DRUNK, well then, I quit drinkin' because of that.

Now I watch other folks get drunk an' become entertainin'...like with bottle rockets, frinstance.

Can you short-stroke a hurl? :P  Guess what my Doc told me the other day forty rod, my latest bunch of problems comes from when I hade the stomach flu and threw up so hard I damaged something, now I'm going to have to got to the shop again for repairs.  The stuff this summer was most likey from damaging something when I fell last January. It's a good thing I gave up drinking, cause Doc tells me not to fall or throw up hard.  If I was drinking I could end up doing both at once. :o :o :o

An exclusive group, Dai. I'm not good at explaining it, but it has to do with an album by a little known group from the 70's. You'd have to get Del or Annie Lee to give you the full explanation.....Buck 8) ;)

Like Four-Eyed Buck said, you'll have to have Del or AnnieLee explain it to you. I was too young for Bozos on the Bus the first time around. My understanding of it is people being silly and doing bazaar things like we do here in the Tall Tales.

In the 1970's a satire comedy group "Firesign Theatre" had both a radio show and made several albums.  The stuff was funny, most who listen to it were in an altered state of mind, but it's even funny if you ain't.   ;)  Perhaps their best one was "We're all Bozo's on this Bus"  but they had others.  The satire takes someone with a fairly high IQ and a fairly vast knowledge in general to understand.  About a year and a half ago I was sitting around a campfire at the very historic "Rock Creek Station" of Wild Bill fame and my pard Gg moved a camp chair and it fell over.

My friend the Luthern Minister looked at it and said, "If you push something hard enough, it will fall over!"  Whitch is Fudd's first Law of Oppisition from Bozo's.  I looked at this Man of the Cloth and asked, "are you a Bozo on the bus?"  He just grinned and said nothing.  Since then I find out by doing impromtue surveys and sneeking in lines now and then, 50-75% of CAS Shooters and Ren-Actors, in the 45-65 age group are Bozo's.

I have a vinyl copy of this and am running a few copies for folks like Slim, but I am stuck on it right now.  Some Bozo has decided to make several quilt for Chistmas presents and a cwedding and birthday after the first of the year and has piled to much junk up to finish for a week or two.

Till then, reinflate your shoes and follow the yellow rubber line, we're at the Future Fair, Fair for all and no fair to anyone. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Delmonico,

Thanks for the explanation. Never hear do this before, I'm going to check the web for what I can find.

Sounds like a pretty good description of myself.

You are talking nhere to a person who has tapes of every radio program of a series that aired in the UK in the 50's

It goes by the title of "The Goons"

Starred, Peter Sellers, Michael Bentine, Harry Secombe and Spike Milligan.

Totally not on this planet.
