We are planning a "Battle of the Bulge" shoot this winter and I thought I'd dress the part. Gonna shoot my Garand, of course, and watch the brass melt into the snow .....

A post-1940 Officer wore what the EM wore - straight-issued M1916 hip holster, web magazine pouches and the rest - many tracked down an M3 shoulder holster, but that was that.

There was no difference in equipment issue.
