In For a Few Dollars More, Col. Mortimer uses one, but I thought it was on a long barrelled Colt.   Thank you for giving me a reason to rewatch my favorite of the triology.

So, that is my favorite of the 3 and when I bought my 1860 Colt army, I just had to have one.  I saved my pennies and got one.   It fit pretty well and once you get used to where to keep your forward hand, they are a whole lotta fun.  Then Christmas came and family got me one of those brassed framed buffalo remingtons.  It is a beast and it is accurate.   I wanted a stock for it in a steam punk vibe.   So, I ordered a shoulder stock screw from Taylor's.   It is an adapted hammer screw that has a bushing on the opposite side, together they serve the same function as the sholder stock screws on the Colt Army.   I tried my colt stock and it kind of fit.   I did a bit of dremel work on the inside and it now fits both, but pretty much resides on my buffalo remington.  I have 3 cylinders for it and it is fun and as accurate as my Henry (me shooting).

Nice, Mo. That really looks good on that brass framed Remington. Good job fitting it.
