Not to be funny but, if your message is, 'that you just signed up yourself and wife'.

Well then Welcome into this here club from me and I hope you both have fun.

Stay in touch on this here wire.

As OCB stated if you have any questions about the Originals (possible new) catagory don't hesitate to ask.
As he said we try to match our equipment and accessories to a given time period.  That way the image is a little more realistic.

The dressier impression sounds like a good start.

Welcome to you and your wife.  The Convention is coming up Feb. 17-19th in Council Bluffs, Ia.  You will get to meet a lot of members there if you can make it.  Lots of seminars and vendors and displays.

I am sixty-one years old, sir. My profession, such as it is, is as a "greeter" at a welfare office. In other words, I am paid to tell people where to go, which can't be a bad thing.

Welcome Old Dude and wife (name?).  I'm new to NCOWS also but not totally new to Cowboy Action Shooting.  I see the boys are offering assistance as you need it so I thought perhaps I'd offer any help I can to your wife.  There are a lot of other women NCOWS members who would do the same!  Encourage her to come visit the website and ask questions.  The people here have a wealth of information to share!

In most discussion groups, I refer to her as LB--for Lovely Bride. I am trying to get her to take the alias of Annie Toakley. We'll see. Undecided

Dontcha jist love it when somebody starts messin' with yer moniker? HAH!
Of course we could just Acronymize him and call him 'P.O.D.'/Pettifoggin' Old Dude and let it go at that, hmmmm, kinda has a nice ring to the ear dosen't it? Or, 'P2.O.D.'/Pettifoggin' Pete the Old Dude, kinda gives it an Old West STAR WARS attribute. Ah, well, it was worth a try.
Best regards and good lexing!

Hey, folks can call me whatever they want as long as they call me in time for dinner and drinks.

I do plan on shooting smoky-less powder in whatever I get. I have never shot "the dark stuff" though that could, of course, change.

As for being old, it sure as heck beats the alternative.

Again, thanks for the information. I've paid for education that wasn't this good.
