My best bud moved from Baltimore to Sarasota last year. I tried to tell him there’s gators, sinkholes, anacondas, sika skeeters, hurricanes and old people but he went anyway. Good luck on your move. But no snow!

Howdy Everyone,

Many thanks for the kind words.

Del, I did see Gator Jerky for sale at a roadside stand.

Ed  I've seen it snow twice in Florida , once as far south as West Palm Beach Didn't stick buit it was snow about 38 years ago.
The last time was here in Orlando in 2010, floated about in the air some...
Old people well yeah , but I resemble that and they everywhere else too....

Gators , they live where they do and I choose not go there...anacondas ditto , no interest in the swamps

Sinkholes on occasion

sika skeeter OK, but the don't carry bomb racks like kind in the tundra do

course there is lime disease in the ticks, that turns the bite effected area scarlett ,,,

red tide , blue crabs (hmmmm blue crabs  ) green grass year round ,  pink sunsets , blue hairs ....and tan women .

safe to say.... We are colorful !

Leaving in a week for the annual SD pilgrimage. The new dog "training" collar arrived today. The old one decided to stop working. I replaced the battery but it still didn't work.  :(

Recieved a ticket last night on way home from church. Was going to just pay the fine. Till i read the statue. Now i am angry. If i disappear and never return contempt of court weighs a heafty fine here.

Afternoon all.

Clear blue skies, 65 degrees, with a light wind out of the SW.  Perfect day, and perfect for flying.

It's first day of midterm break today.  I don't remember ever having a midterm break before, but I'm not planning on complaining.  It means I don't have class, and there are more airplanes available.  I'm flying in a couple hours.

We got talked into a kitten back in Jul/Aug. it has learned to let it self outside. No biggie going out. Can’t figgure out how to get back in. It’s piercing screams could replace the countywide emergency horn

Got up at 4am, got back home about noon, took a nap.

Wife had some surgery this morning, waiting on tests but should be fine.

I should yell at her for the loud TV but won't.

I'm off till Monday at 4pm.

Afternoon all.

70 degrees and sunny today.  Good day for flying, but I'm not flying today.

I went to Cabela's for a new hat, and that's about the extent of my usefulness today.  Later on I'm watching some movies with a friend, and then... Sleeping, I guess.
