Pards..I shot my Schofield conversions Saturday, and all I can say is " Whoaa Nellie "...fast and smooth beyond my expectations. They are so smooth that when i first pulled the hammer back I didn`t think the cylinder rotated!!! What a pleasure to shoot..and just the most handsome SA revolver ever designed..Thank you Happy Trails for your wizardry..

So this means that the trigger can be held down and hammer fanned like a SAA?  Will that put more stress on the internals?

That was the original design, it was changed to a trigger actuated bolt after several years...so I don`t see a problem.
