Here's coffee, tea and Independence.
« on: July 01, 2018, 11:50:59 AM »
Morning everyone.

Since nobody else has yet, I guess I'll start it off today.

I got Peet's Major Dickason's Blend on, with chocolate chip cookies.  Also have a pitcher of sweet tea chilling down, should be ready in moments.

Afternoon Y'all, Went to a match today, weather was/is in the high 90's and into triple digits in some spots on the drive back home. Had some problems with the rifle with squibs and I can't for the life of me figure out why. I'm very careful when loading my match ammo, only thing I can figure is I grabbed a box of older ammo tha twas set aside for practice. I have a 3 day match next weekend and I'm going to make sure the ammo is good for that.
Respectfully,Major E.A. Sterner

All gone but Slim, Micha and me.  Lots of leftovers for supper.

We survived the monsoon, more on that later.

As the sun is sinking on my last night in camp supper is done, we ate up leftovers.  The Field Marshall is half loaded and I am taking the rest of the night off.

Have cleaned up and slipped into something more comfortable.

We're home from the Muster. Wife decided she didn't want to go into KC for any shopping 8) so we didn't stop at any hotel. We intended to swap off driving and go straight through, but she was having trouble driving at night, especially on I-29 where it was new pavement with no stripes. So I took over, and we stopped at a rest stop for a few hours of attempted sleep in the car and continued on to arrive about 7AM.

So now I've been to the Snow Muster, the Wind Muster and the Rain Muster. If there's a Fire Muster scheduled, I think I'll skip that one

Enjoy your taste of California with those earthquakes, Del. ;)

105 today, which is too hot by anyone's standards.  Expecting the same through the weekend.

My sister is semi officially off to college today.  Her school has a three week cross cultural thing for language majors to meet exchange students from a country that speaks their language.  My sister is learning Korean, so she's spending the next three weeks with a half dozen kids from Seoul and some other places I can't spell or pronounce.

It be July.  Took me 4 hours to go 200 miles.  Hit road construction and took time to choose sausage.
