Afternoon all.

85 and not a cloud in sight.

Been doing some work around the house and yard today.  Moving firewood, mowing the lawn, etc. Here in a while I'm going to take the dog up to the lake for some cooling off.

Afternoon all.

Currently 80, supposed to reach 95.  Possibly in for some rain and lightening to kick off the official start of fire season.  The atmospheric pressure is down almost a half inch from standard, so it could happen.

Got some corn in the ground yesterday and day before.  I have one patch of Inca Rainbow, and another of Salia Parching Corn.  Both are supposed to grow well here, so we'll see. I'm thinking I might plant another patch of either corn or sunflower, but I haven't decided for sure.

Morning all.

60 and rainy today.  Had a pretty impressive thunderstorm yesterday.  They had to close down one if the roads in the county because hail was floating in rain runoff and had piled up almost three feet deep in one spot.  Pretty consistent 40mph winds through the whole storm.  Now we're just stuck with rain.

On today's agenda is helping some acquaintances move.  The joys of being the guy with a full size truck.  I've got about two cords of wood and a sofa to move.  Yay.

Saw that " Conservative student's parting shot at college's anti-gun policies goes viral: 'Come and take it"

I don't buy it.... either the Liberal's stirring it up  !   or She is ....for her 15 Minutes of fame.
Controversy fuels the Anti's agenda

however....
Also today, a Cop shoots armed former student at Illinois high school , it has already been pulled from the News of the Day !

I had to search to find this.... https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/nation/2018/05/16/illinois-school-shooting/34980723/

Evening Y'all, had some serious weather here yesterday, Had 2 tornadoes touchdown, one about 15-20 miles to the North west of me the other 20 miles to the southwest. From the photos and video I saw, they tore up the area pretty good. Even made the NYcity national evening news
