We have been successful in establishing a 4-H Western Heritage Project in Johnson County, Kansas. That means more 4-H Youth being instructed in our sport and heritage right here at ground zero. The three newly certified instructors, David Birk, Michael Tatham and Josh Smith are holding a fund raiser in conjunction with the Jerry Barnes Memorial Shoot for needed firearms, ammunition, timers, steel targets, hangers, safety glasses, ear plug and hard cases. We will only use .22's for the first year. As a start up, we have no funds. We have 25 T-shirts for those who donate equipment, funds, or period correct clothing for our youth. We ask you to please live generously. Youth are the future of our sport and Kansas Vigilance Committee are leaders in bringing in a new generation to our sport. Thank you.
