It's a good show, I watch it even though I don't play with fire.

Yeah but most cooking shows are watched by people who don't cook.  ;)

Afternoon all.

Weather took an odd turn around here yesterday.  Saturday was 50 degrees with 15mph winds, then we wake up Sunday morning with were stuff falling from the sky.  By midnight it had hit an inch, at 19 degrees and a 15-25mph wind.  At noon today it's back up to 45, but with the same wind.

My mom picked up an interesting trinket at a yard sale last week that I keep forgetting to mention.  It's a dual liquid fueled iron.  Runs on gasoline and kerosene.  Kind of interesting.  It's in the original, squirrel chewed box too.  Now I'm I could just figure out how to post a picture from my phone we'd be golden

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

Ice everywhere. Staying home. Gonna sand and salt the driveway after breaking the fast.

'Tis 26 and sprinkling. "Cloudy. Light freezing rain in the morning. Light rain also possible in the morning  then a chance of light rain and freezing rain in the afternoon. Around a tenth of an inch of icing. Highs in the middle 30s. Southeast wind around 5 mph shifting to the west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation 80 percent."

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

Warmed up to mid 30's, so most of the ice should be off the roads.

'Tis 14 and clear. High of 25.

Thanks for the coffee -

I hate to say it, nearly had to turn A/C on last night.  A small thunderstorm finally blew thru and it cooled down a bit. Rain expected next 2 days.

Sod Buster have you kept in touch with her son?

I tried but he got other interests...He never seemed interested in maintaining connections.

Freezing rain again this morning, but supposed to warm up above freezing shortly. Spent a fun day yesterday pounding mailboxes open with a big rubber mallet.
