Pedersoli Vernier sight help needed
« on: January 06, 2018, 05:13:19 PM »
I recently came across a Pedersoli Vernier type sight that I cannot identify. As I know nothing about these this has proven difficult especially since I have perused multiple web sources in attempt to match my sight to an identical model in picture and description and have come up with zilch. I'd greatly appreciate any assistance in IDing this sight model and approximate street value as I do intend to sell it.

The base measures 2 13/16" and the elevator (?) is 3 1/2" tall. The sight is color case and it comes in the shown presentation box.

Thanks!

All of the Pedersoli sights I have come across are blue or lack. This may e an old model. They still carry a fair choice in their inventory and over here they retail from £60 to £250+ depending on model.

I bought one several years ago from Cabelas for $220 and when I moved up to a MVA, I
sold it for $100

It's something the called a "creedmoor" sight years ago. It's some what service able, but the little windage adjustment it has are gained by turning the little screws on the base. That in turn will also make an elevation change so a person has to be pretty sharp on figuring out how many "minutes" windage a turn on the knobs makes, and then make the corresponding elevation changes.
Person is much better served by getting a quality soule sight.
