Birdshead Vaquero with engraving?
« on: September 26, 2017, 05:49:34 PM »
I noticed this Ruger on Pinterest, and am wondering if anyone knows if it's a custom or stock engraving?  It looks like a Talo Birdshead exclusive from several years ago.

That's a nice one!
I see it has a Bisley hammer.
I will ask Russ T. Spittoon if it's one of his.
He does a lot of engraving in those patterns.

He can be reached at www.rzengraving.com.

It really caught my eye.  I am not knowledgeable enough to know if it's laser engraved or a traditional engraving, but (IMO) it's so tastefully done, it does not matter.  In MA, we can't get Talo/Ruger firearms because they are not on the approved list, so it would have to be made from an approved firearm and then engraved.
