Progress report on my 56-50 Spencer ...
« on: November 29, 2005, 01:22:10 PM »
Seeing as how I am no longer at the bottom of the SSS Posse list (by several even newer folks, in fact) thought I should post a wee report on my progress in actually becoming a Spencer owner.   ;D

The Marshal e-mailed me this morning to advise that my carbine arrived in his hands from Taylor's yesterday.  In his words: " Wow, what a gun!"   :o

He promises to get back to me later today with some details on the other goodies I'll be needing ....   :D

Congratulations - hope it gets to you pronto, you'll like it!  Also I'd like to add a note of appreciation for your contributions, sartorial and otherwise, on the other fora we frequent.  With the various Sniders, Martinis and Webleys floating about, and all the kit appropriate to 'em, it's great to find grease for the skids...  ;D
