Good ta hear about the x-ray. I'll be praying for the viral thingy to go away.

Package arrived from Brownells. Got a spring kit and Hogue grip for the SP101, 25 ACP dies, .356'' 124gr boolit mould, and a couple of priming tool shell holders.

We all are learning about our limits.  Even if were not happy with them.  Slow it down a notch. Let some of your knowledge and generosities grow on to someone a bit younger.

You and your family and co-workers are doing a bang up job with much needed aid.  Prayer out to you all.

Evening Y'all, The Match went well, was July hot (Upper 80's and 70% + humidity) I surprised myself shooting Duelist at this match by not coming in last (only the 3rd time shooting Duelist) and I came in 133rd out of 250 overall. I'm still recuperating from the weekend but that has been slowed down with Babysitting my Grand daughter all week. I'll bank the coals so they're good for the morning crew. Y'all have a good one.

Morning y'all. Had some wicked weather roll through yesterday. Started off with a lot of thunder, followed by a torrential downpour. We had a lightning strike in camp, hit one of the pines in front, near the camp road. Blew the outer insulation of the power cord from the genny to the cabin, killed two of the outlets on the genny. It also managed to kill the tv, the well, and the ceiling fan... and scared the snot out of 9 dogs and the wife. She said she felt the jolt from the lightning inside. Aside from that, still surviving in the woods.

And the coffee maker is still working :)

Morning all.

I'm down from the mountain today.  Was yesterday, too.  Just too doggone cold at night!  Tuesday night was 35 ambient, but with the wind and s**w, they were calling it down below 20.  Last night was supposed to be sub-zero. :o  I said "Nope!" and came home.  But, for my trouble all I got was a transmission problem.  For some reason the torque converter isn't staying connected.  I added some fluid, but it didn't help much.  I limped it the last 15 miles (naturally, the last miles are over a mountain pass), and called the boss to tell him I wouldn't be at the tower today.  He gave me a paid day off at half hourly wage.  So at least I have that.  But darn these fancy doo-dads and self shifting cars.  :-\  I want a manual again.

Good afternoon, good to be here; reheated coffee is fine with me.  I've been dropping by almost every day, but not taking the time to write anything, had too much going on; but it seems to be settling down to a dull roar again.

Watched those two hurricanes with interest, for those of you n their way, and friends in the greater Houston area.  All seem to have escaped major disaster, just losing some trees, and getting lots and lots of rain - but no flooding where they are.  Our younger son and his wife are long haul truckers, and they had been running a contract haul from Pueblo, CO to Port Arthur, TX - forth and back.  When the storm was eminent, their dispatcher held them in Pueblo for a few days, but decided that they could get one more run to Port Arthur in before it hit, so off they went.  They got into Port Arthur when the first of the outer bands hit, actually, drove in heavy rain from north of Houston; got unloaded, and headed back to Pueblo in heavy downpour, and it went with them as far a Dallas before they got out of the rain.  Back in Pueblo, they sat for a few days, and the company decided the job was going to be on indefinite hold, so off the went to other loads and adventures, mostly around the east and north, and mostly in rain, as the storm moved on north.  They showed up here at home this morning without notice, stopping by for a day on their way to L. A. (Torrance); is good to see them.

We have gotten our butts kicked by some sort of bug.  I came down with it in early August, and the Missus got it a few days later; it hurt me, but put her in the hospital with pneumonia for five days.  She came home with an order for oxygen and other meds.  But, we are getting better, slowly; I am going through a mild relapse right now, but hopefully, the antibiotics will kill it this time.

Glad to hear that you're on the mend, Li'l Roo, and back to your routines.

Time to go visit with the kids for a while before they head out again.

Later.

Roo , 250 total shooters, 10 in my category, wish we had the temps from today over the shoot weekend. Was mid 70's and a nice breeze here today. The leaves are already falling, doesn't look good for the people who rely on the leaf peepers for income. Y'all have a good one.
