Went to see Glen Campbell in concert at the JahrHundret Halle in Germany.  Anne Murray opened for him.  Fabulous show.  Deeply in lust for Anne Murray   :D

On his "True Grit " roll  ....Glen Campbell later said,

"I'd never acted in a movie before, and every time I see True Grit, I think my record's still clean!"

He was probably,  the finest Guitarist the industry has known.

I heard at work today that there is an awesome video of Glen C. playing the bagpipes and singing Amazing Grace. If'n I was smart enough, I would find it (think I CAN do that part), and post a link so people who were interested could enjoy it.(hint to smart guys).  I remember a long drive to Texas with my parents in our brandy-new 1967 Mercury Cougar, and I think Wichita Lineman played every other song. What a beautiful voice!

Awesome!  Thanks C C Griff AKA: Smart Guy! (I mean that as a compliment of course)  I was always a big fan of Classical Gas also.
