Rodeo grip question
« on: July 30, 2017, 06:22:10 PM »
I have a D prefix Rodeo and never took to the factory grips. I read somewhere that the Uberti grips are the same grip frame size. Is this true and does anyone have some suggestions where I can find some unfitted grips for it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think you'll find the "D" series Rodeos were all US made.  The Uberti grip frame should fit the frame but the contour is a little different.  Also, USFA ground the backstrap and trigger guard while attached to the frame.  You probably won't get a perfect fit with the Uberti (or any other) grip frame .

PLUS ONE to Major 2 and Gary G.

Your best bet will be the rough shaped blank from Uberti.  Available from VTI.  Some fitting required  ::)
