Scored something cool
« on: July 17, 2017, 07:18:46 PM »
The range where I shoot has a freebie cabinet where people can put things they no longer want, for others to have. Today there was a huge stack of old gun magazines and I found the Jan/Fed 2006 issue of American Handgunner with Mike Venturino's article "For Want of a Cavalry Colt - One Man's Quest for a Dream-Gun". It's about his USFA Custer Battlefield with serial number 1876.

LP,
Way to go!  That article can be found on-line and I have read it.  Mike Venturino was true believer in USFA guns and the articles that he wrote about them show it.
