That is a nice looking 1907!  Seeing that it was made in 1919 it would be one of the last of the 1907's.   It looks like it has a 1917 style slide, I guess they were mixing parts in the era between the 1907 and 1917.

I'm going to do a real accuracy comparison between my 1907 and a 1903 Colt, both in .32. The Savage has slightly better sights and feels better in my hand. The Colt has a better trigger and the thumb safety is better in operational ease. +1 on getting replacement grips for them, I broke the original ones on my Colt the first time I shot it, sad as they were pristine.

I bought a used Triple K magazine (who thought that was a good name for a company) for my Savage the other day.  The mag catch wouldn't quite grab the hole in the Triple K mag, after a few swipes with the file it worked.  I put about 40 rounds through it with zero issues.  The only thing I don't like about it is that it only holds 7 round vs. 9 rounds for the factory one.  The mag follower is much longer than the factory one, I am tempted to trim it, but I probably will just leave it be.
