I use a half-belt holding 12 rounds in addition to some loops on the front plaquette (a double chape style like the Mexican one in Packing Iron) of my gunbelt. The loop portion can be run around to the back if you just want spares "because". But then again, I am no longer a gamer, even if I never was!

I usually wear one of my 25 rd Mills belts along with my web pistol belt. I move the sg shells to the front as they are used. However if I wear my forager belt as a holster belt that holds both sg and rifle rds I will use the 8 sg /3 pistol rd rig that I had made. As I've said before, a web belt is more comfortable than leather, it moves, bends and stretches with you. IMHO

Obviously very kind and thoughtful suggestions.   :-*

There is however, one salient point.

One must remember to TAKE IT WITH YOU!!    ::)

Arriving at the match and realizing the shotgun belt is hanging on a chair, 150 miles away .......................   :o

Not conducive to a Harmonious experience.    :P

Good thing I had a vest with POCKETS   8)

Taking your pistol belt and holsters is also handy to do.

In a hopefully more helpful serious vein, I always lay out my kit on the kitchen table the night before. Holsters, hat, ammo, boots, firearms, coat, belts etc with a double check on the calibers of my guns and the correct ammo and anything else that I'm going to show or shoot during our lunch break. I've caught myself a couple of times with the wrong ammunition for the revolver that I'd chosen. I do color code my ammo boxes as best I can. Its been a very very long time since I forgot my rifle ammo.

Several years ago I went to a two day match about forty miles from my home. I made a checklist so I wouldn't forget anything. On Saturday I looked at the checklist and brought everything I needed. On Sunday I forgot to look at the checklist. I'm almost there on Sunday and my cell phone rang. My wife asked if I needed those Saddle Bags packed with ammo and my Holster rig. She met me and I was able to shoot the Sunday match. Now I put my stuff out the night before. I still occasionally forget something.

By the way, attached is the Shotgun Belt I've been using for several years. Also attached are pictures of a Shotgun Belt I recently made for a fellow Shooter.

Coffinmaker,  I suggest you make a duplicate copy of your check list and give it to Dawg and have him call you the morning of the
match and have him go over it with you.  Have him call you so you don't forget  ::)

Hey Charlie   ;D

And just what makes you think Dawg would remember to call me ????  Heck, I have to remember to call Dawg to remind him to remember to call me and then remember where we put the check lists.  My head hurts.   ::)

Forgot my leather at a couple of club matches.  Just a couple of weeks ago at EOT my buddy and I unloaded our stuff and were pushing our carts toward the stages to shoot a practice match.  We got a few yards from the truck and I said "something seems to be missing."  Ahh, it was my leather.  After being laughed at and rebuked by my pardner he realized he had also forgotten his leather!  Luckily our leather was in our RVs a few miles from EOT rather than back in Phoenix.  We had an early dinner and made sure to bring our leather the next day for a different warm-up.
