Belgium Spencer?

Have any one here on the forum had experience shooting one of the Belgium Spencer's? I've read many are Center fire.

I actually handled a Belgium Spencer many years ago.  For the life of me, I do not recall whether it was rimfire or centerfire.

I had one 30 years ago.  It was rimfire.

I had assumed when I posted about the Belgium Spencer's there would be a number in the collections of forum members.  Looks like they might not be that common after all.

I have been after one for years,hard to find in Australia,have only seen two ,booth were center fire short blade extractor Spencer cut off Brazil marked carbines .The quality was as good as the American made carbines

While we're at it, did Brazil produce 56-50 rimfire ammunition, and if so with what markings and until what year?

I recall Navy Arms importing current production Brazilian 41 rimfire rounds for the Remington O-under derringer in the 1980's.

Want to recall seeing an old "Brazilian" 56-50 round on an artifact website a while back.

My curiosity is increasing so I will keep an eye out for one at the Tulsa show next weekend. It is a good place to see the history of firearms even if you do not buy.
