I'd imagine these would sell very well in European countries ...with tight street commutes   :-\
I couldn't comment on your neck of the country ... but guessing ?   Portugal  right ?

They ( scooters , mopeds and the like ) are all over Italia .

Not so much , in Trumpdom  its either mega speed crotch rockets or mega trick cruisers & easy rider chops.

but every so often , y'll see a millennium , wiz by maybe at balls to the wall 30 MPH   :)

Here's the most common type in the Philippines-I've seen a whole family of 5 riding one! They use them to power sidecar taxis, called "tricycles" even, the sidecar is probably bigger than the bike. With a sidecar, 40kmhr is about tops, but with just the bike I've cruised 80-90 klicks with no problem. Most Americans would call it a scooter, because of the appearance, but it's a regular motorcycle, has chain drive and transmission with gears. Scooters have hand controls only, and variable speed belt pulleys for a drive system.

Aaah. Well, I use this nowadays (since 2004 ). I find it nimble enough for tight streets. With enough punch for out of town

But I still like the looks of that moped.

Portugal yes. But I've been dodging speed limits for 40 years.  :-[

Yes, I can see how that would have you dodging speed limits! I'm sure that every bike I've had, except the first one, a Honda CL350, could earn me a speeding ticket about anywhere, without getting past 3rd gear. And none of them have been anything considered a FAST bike!

Er, well. That's not the fastest bike I've had. :-[

This one was. ;D
Could mark more than 180 mph on the speedometer, 80 mph in first gear.

I also like the survival one, too. Looks very Steampunk.

Almost-youjust need to make att the visible metal parts brass- now THAT would be Steampunk!

Ummm- Yeah they don't get much faster than a GSXR Suzuki. My Uncle had one for a short time-it WAS NOT stock. It would go well over 180, he put a for sale sign on it before it could get him killed.

My Harley used to be able to get over 150 on the speedometer, but then I got the right speedo drive gear... ;D

Always liked those clean lines. But never been an off roader. Even though I owned a 125 off road Suzuki just to go to work while I had the 1100.

It was just like this one red and all. But the engine was 125cc not 185cc.

Enduro styling is appealing, but in truth, not that great off road sort of a compromise , off-on road bike a nitch look, but not the best for either....
Still I liked mine, now gays my tastes is the Harley Fat boy ,and A soft spot for the BMW's , and the retro Royal Enfield.
I'll never own any of them, those wishful days are long gone...still I cling to the thoughts  :-[

young enough to remember , riding Honda's 1970  750cc  ( not mine ) , a 1962 Ducati Monza 250 also not mine.
My 1972 Kawasaki 175cc Enduro and the previous  mentioned 1980 Yamaha ....

old enough to know better .... A young buck with youthful abandon , with caution thrown to the wind I rode in...

now days two wheels  ::)  in my Area you a might as well  have target painted on your backside or HIT ME pin on.

Still... there is just enough lust deep inside .... I actually, checked out the new Royal Enfield's  they are still made in the old school style.

The CRUZER with a 125cc Yeah....   just enough lust deep inside

Going back in time. Bought it second or third hand in the early 80s. But it was still a mean machine  ;D
Just look at me in the left corner with some 35 years off my back  ;D.

your sorta Indiana Jones persona....  :)

back then the for me,  the whole ...

" Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride! "

seemed right  ::)

Now....I would have liked , "the used up, worn out parts".... left out

a "reasonably preserved body" inserted  ..... "'Wow! What a Ride! " part retained  ;D

ST, can't make out the numbers on the Kaw-a friend of mine used to ride a 900.

In addition to my Harley, have a 76 CB 750 Honda in the shed, haven't rode it for a couple of years, just nee9s some minor work to get going again.

M-2, the Royal Enfields still look pretty old school, but they're somewhat updated. I believe the carburetor's gone, it's now injected, since Carbs can't make the emission rules anymore. And they've re-designed the motor, supposedly you can run a steady 70 without seizing the motor now.

The recent is a 750. The old one was a 900.
