I LOVE the Store!
I Love the Knives!!!
Ah those wacky Finns, I love the heck out of em.

factoids:
Finns are known to carry Pukka Knives constantly and everywhere, be hard drinkers who don't talk much, are immune to cold, love Saunas,  and are general bada$$es. The Finns and Saami still maintain a heritage of  one-with-nature "shamanism" which is remarkably similar to that of several Native American cultures, and the Saami still use hide tipis, even in winter.

One of Finlands national Heroes is "Simuna" Häyhä  aka "The White Death"
Simo "Simuna" Häyhä  17 December 1905 – 1 April 2002),

Simo was A Finnish farmer turned marksman during the "Winter War with Russia 1939–1940. Using a Finnish M/28-30 rifle
and the Suomi KP/-31 Submachine Gun, in the Winter War,  he is reported as having killed 505 men, the highest recorded
number of confirmed sniper kills in any major war.

He preferred iron sights over telescopic sights as to present a smaller target. He would hike and ski to likely areas,
wait a long time in subzero cold, literally IN a snow bank, kill Russians hundreds of meters away, and scoot off.

Whilst sniping at Russians, a counter-sniper shot him in the face. This caused him distress, so he killed the
countersniper before passing out:

"On 6 March 1940, newly promoted Lieutenant Simo Häyhä was with a small group of ski-troops, fighting against a much larger Soviet force. As noon neared, Häyhä had forty confirmed kills for the day, but his luck changed. A single explosive round hit him in the upper-left side of his jaw. The men who evacuated Häyhä reported “half his face missing,” but loaded him on a train toward care. He remained comatose for four days. He awoke with a shattered jaw only hours after the signing of the Moscow Peace Treaty which officially ended the Winter War."

Reminds me of home here in the Cariboo.

It's a nice day when it's sunny, no wind and just -25C. Life goes on.
