Coffee is hot.

With the warm weather, the sandhill cranes are back.

Afternoon all.

Today is a far cry from yesterdays weather.  25 degrees and clear when I left for work.  Now it's 60 degrees with scattered clouds.

After work, I had to take my mom to a dentist appointment.  Getting a tooth filled, so she didn't want to drive 40 miles of icy mountain roads with weird drugs in her system.  Turned out that she didn't need any anesthetic, since all the dentist did was score the tooth and seal it with polymer stuff.   So, I took a nap while I waited and on the way home. ::)

In a while I'm going to go try and get some pictures of the elk herd in the area.  I got a tip that they were out of the hills and in a valley/hay field.

So explain to me what that inch or so of white stuff I just swept off The Field Marshall was? ::)

I'll reheat the coffee and grab a snack this afternoon. ::)

Not much going on here.  The weather keeps going back and forth.  Again.  white stuff and sunshine, no in between.

24, feels like 15 this morning. :P

We got the t-storms Fri. night as advertised. Pretty loud, too. 40's to start yesterday, and quite windy.

Now, we have some very light snow showers ::)

Morning all.

got down around 20 last night here.  We add vinegar to the animal water (1 teaspoon/gallon) as antifreeze, but that only works to about 25.   :-\

Getting close to ready to go take the written test for my Commercial DL here soon.   Is it a bad idea to listen to "East Bound and Down" while studying to drive a truck? :o ::)

Now off to the city to go to church, and maybe pick up a new rifle.  I can dream.  ::)

We rarly get that cold here- but we do. We add Apple Cider Vinger to a gallon water feeder. It helps keep algie growth down(warmer weather). Helps worm the birds. It does freeze here around 30 over night. That is why i use one gallon waterers. I think Slim and the Slimettes raise a few. Not sure what he does for winter water. With the few birds i have they keep me in eggs year round.
