Morning all.
35 degrees, with low fog/clouds. Supposed to clear up around noon and be sunny, high of 60.
For those of you who watch the news, you may have seen under the "F'ing Big Problem" headline that Oroville Dam in California has some issues. As in, the primary spillway has a 500 foot long, 300 foot wide, 40 foot deep hole that is eroding further. On top of that, the emergency spillway has structural integrity issues, so when they used it, it started to fail. So they're using the primary to pour a total of almost 150,000 CFS of water into a river capable of 70,000cfs. Nearly 200,000 people are under mandatory evacuation, and parts of several cities are in the flood zone. <<
