Need a trapdoor ramrod
« on: October 29, 2016, 06:58:36 AM »
Howdy all..

The LGS has a pretty nice 1873 Trapdoor for sale cheap.  It's cheap because it needs a rear sight and a ramrod.  The rear sight is pretty easy to find but the ramrod is tougher.  Are there any vendors that carry them or am I stuck with Epay?

Thanks!

Dixie used to sell a late model repro. Which Ramrod is it supposed to have?

Pitspitr, it takes the early standard type rod.

Go back to S&S & search part # 73S327, or page 16 of trapdoor parts.

Go to www.trapdoorcollector.com. Al Frasca has a wide assortment of original replacement parts for trapdoors.

Hope this helps.

$47.00 and $7.75 shipping for this original-it's for an '84 but I'd live with it for that price. Deal! I hope you were the one that got it! :D
