Just saw these two 1860 Spencers up for auction at the November 1st Historic Firearms Auction

The cased sporting rifle is as good as it gets for me,my  hope is a good maker like Pedersoli will make a copy one day

The Spenser 'Sporter' from Pederosoli  would be very nice.
It would also be very nice if they offered it in an Infantry as well as a Navy "Rifle' variation (With the correct demintions for those arms).
If and when I can get back in touch with Pederosoi, I will see if they have any interest in the project.
