Morning all.  That coffee sure is appreciated in my part of the world.

It has rained starting at about 8:30 last night and hasn't let up since.  Forecast for 3 inches in the next two days...  Yep, time for some indoors activities. ::)

I've got a lump of sourdough rising right now.  Put it in the oven at about 100 degrees overnight, so it should be just about time to put it in a pan to finish rising.  I'll let y'all know how that turns out. :)

We had some light frost this morning, temps were hovering around 32. Got up to 63 today.Had to finish putting dirt back along the new concrete curbs on one of the streets. Had the plumbing company drop us off dirt close to it since they had some to spare from the sewer job they were working on. Associate went to get the shovel and got side tracked, ended up moving half the pile just scooping with the bucket before he was able to get back. Back's starting to complain now ::) :P

Morning all.

Bread is/was good.  Made a good dinner with butter.

Spent most of yesterday out in the rain, trying to make YouTube videos.  None of them worked, so I just got wet.

Going off to a SAR meeting in a few minutes.  Going to see if we go jump off a bridge and dangle from ropes, or just sit around and drink coffee. ::)

Got into the 70's here today. i still went ahead and made the pot of chili that I had planned for today. Was good, but not quite up to my usual standards ::)

Wife is up at the rehab place visiting her sister. 'bout a week ago she managed to fall going over to the neighbor's and broke her arm in six places. She also dusted her other elbow and and now has a stainless replacement. She'll probably be there for at least two weeks maybe more :o :P

Tell her I said she needs to stay out of those places.  Archie would be proud I remembered.   ;)

Girl that grew up across the street from us, collapsed and died at work today, 5 years younger than me.  Still lived in her Grandma's house and her brother lives in the folks house across the street, Jackie lived on the corner.  Talked to Mom, Chuck the brother and Jackies daughter were over there, not a lot of close family in town.  The little sister I had of sorts.  Probably will be a pall bearer, we trade back and forth that way, Dad was at Grandma's, I was at her parents both times, Chuck was at Dad's.

Sorry to hear the sad news, Del. I'll be praying for the families.

Monthly systems outage today, so I was at verk.
Got the front brake calipers rebuilt and bled on "The Beast". Drove it to verk.

Morning all.

SAR was cancelled... So I sat in the rain for an hour waiting for nothing. ::)

We've had about 2 inches of rain in the past four days, forecast for another half inch today. :-\

I should get my rifle tomorrow...maybe.

Sorry to hear, Del.  I guess that's the problem with being human.  Mortality is always lurking.

Rather short day today ( job 20 wise ) I have an off campus meeting with a client at his location.

Then I'll go in for few hours, before I start a weeks vacation tomorrow ... I had had plans to be in Texas for the Berger shoot,
Those plans were dashed weeks ago... :(

I have a few projects to mess with ...one is to convert this into a covert carry case , sorta roaring 20's ish

Howdee, and thanks for the coffee.
Near record high temps today...in the upper 80's and 90's.  Regardless, I'm looking forward to the day.
Have a blessed one...
