Just pulled the Fall 2106 issue out of the mail box! Published by Athlon Sports Communications, Inc of New York. Looks like the same address that Harris used but haven't checked yet. Label even has the same expiration of my subscription from Harris. Heck if they're going to be this nice to us, I'll re up now.

Looks like they may have rushed it together, but hey, the got it out and I'm not going to argue. They're just getting started after all.

I am pleased as punch to hear that there will indeed be a Fall 2016 issue  heck, my wife will be too. GotOW subscriptions are her go-to 'stocking stuffer' idea for me. I'm very excited to get my issue.

I got my fall issue yesterday. I noticed a lot of new authors. No Dennis Adler,  and not and much about old guns. although there were a few. I have been receiving GOTOW since it begain, and think this issue and probably the last is not what it used to be. I sure will miss the Magazine as it was one of the best.

Except for a couple glaring mistakes I do enjoy this magazine.

Page 8, that is NOT a .45 ACP

Page 11 the .45 Colt was not designed for a 4 3/4" barrel it was designed for a 7 1/2" barrel hence the name SINGLE ACTION ARMY!!

Anybody have an address where I can sign up for a subscription?  My local grocery store is carrying all sorts of gun magazines, but NOT GOOW!    They used to, but I don't see it. They probably don't know it is back. Thanks!

Retail business's for the most part don't order specific magazines or from publishers directly. They contract with some carrier/business that has the magazines shipped to stores weekly/biweekly/monthly, etc and the carrier hires people to put them on the shelves and take out of date ones off and send them back. This is the policy of every major 'big box' retailer and a lot of smaller ones. There can be exceptions to this of course. I know because my wife at one time served a number of stores owned by competing business's in the same large city we lived by. You can contact the store manager or if you see whomever is stocking the magazines, request GOTOW, my wife had requests a lot, sometimes the magazine was stocked.
