Howdy Creek,
Darby Rough Regulators regular match is the second Saturday and we have a few real Gun Powder shooters and are always looking for more.
I have all my ammo loaded ready for Frontier Cartridge Gun Fighter.  Major Artie Fly shoots Frontiersman or Frontier Cartridge depending on how he feels and we have a couple of other shooters keeping up the smoke.
We welcome new visitors and I especially look for people who shoot the "old way" with period correct ammo.
Does that make me a smoke snob?

PS Our range is off of highway 71 about 15 miles west of La Grange and every one over the age of 40 knows where that is.

Is the Austin area south Texas?  If so, then yeah there's some.  But I usually think of South Texas as waaaay down there.   :)

We might be considered a little north of south Texas, but are such a fun group to shoot with.Where else would you shoot Cody/Dixon single shot with a Sharps percussion carbine?
North on 77 to 71 to West Point FM154 to DRR sign follow signs to range.
Easy as pie

LaGrange is the neatest city in Texas to drive through!! I love the high part on the south side where Texas' first brewery was.

We've got several (including me) regular BP shooters at the Thunder River Renegades  in Magnolia - that's a suburb on the NW side of Houston.  Come by and see us!
