I have to agree. I have always preferred the 4 & 3/4" and the 7 & 1/2" models over the 5 & 1/2." First love would be the 4 & 3/4" models. I have many of them.
I do have one USFA 5 & 1/2" model, nickel plated with sambar stag grips (thanks to
www.elenhunting.com). Got it only because it is the definitive "B Western" cowboy gun. Looks like a gun that Roy Rodgers would have carried.
