A prayer for another of our pads
« on: August 22, 2016, 09:09:38 PM »
Runner Hudson has had a serious setback, he was in the hospital but now is back
home with hospice care. A prayer and a card I'm sure will put a smile on his face.
His address is: Runner Hudson  147 East Leach  Des Moines Iowa 50315    Thanks

Kathy Hudson had the following posted for her on Facebook this morning.

"Kathy asks that I post this. Runner passed away at home in his sleep this morning early. Kathy wants you to know we are meeting with the funeral home later today. The funeral will be late next week. Neva Wells"

I want to share this. About a week before the convention this last March, I got a phone call
that I could hardly makeout the very weak voice, I finally realized it was Runner wanting to
volunteer to help at the convention. I told him that we had it covered, but if he felt up to coming
that it would be wonderful to see him. As weak and sick as he was he still thought so much of us
and our organization. I'm very sad that we've lost another our good friends.

At the convention when the band was playing, before the fire drill, Runner got up and danced a jig.  I always loved his sense of humor.
Prayers and condolences to his family.
