BTW, I also picked up a Galco Kingtuk IWB Holster for my 1911. I'll see if I like it.

And to think I was supposed to be there yesterday/today.  :o

Afternoon all.  Currently 95 in my part of the world, not a cloud in sight.  Though apparently they had a couple tornadoes up by my aunt in Washington.  That's a little odd, if you ask me.

Planning on going fishing tonight, but that may not pan out.  We'll see.

Beatin' clothes on the rocks here. Had a real nasty storm pass through downtown a bit ago, just in time for the HOF start up parade! Doubt if it went off as scheduled. Wife's Facebook had entries about light poles down up there :o Down here we got zip nada at that point, a sprinkle is going on here now ::)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Afternoon all.

We hit 105 here today.  :-\  The valley is forecast for 110+ last time I checked.  :o :o :o

Did end up going fishing last night, though.  Interesting story about that.  We were using some new rubber worms, trying to catch a couple bass, and I got a hit.  The fish got off and took my bait, so we kept casting there for a while, then decided to move to a different part of the pond.  We got there and on the third cast my younger brother catches one.  We get it in the boat, and as I'm pulling the hook out of his mouth, he coughed up my worm.   ::)

The wife is now on her way back from Milwaukee, but will have to brave 110 in Phoenix before heading on to our balmy 95.  She probably won’t even work up a sweat, as the layover is only 50 minutes.  On second thought you can work up a sweat running between gates!

We're on our way back home, stopped in Hutchinson Ks again. Was only in the low 90's as we travelled, so maybe some of the heat wave has moved on through while we were gone(or maybe wishful thinking).

Back home! No problems with car, weather was mostly great. Picked up some sweet corn and some rib eye's when we went through town, cooking now. Garden prospered while we were gone, I guess it must have rained at least once while we were gone. Picked about 10 gallons of cucumbers, so I'll be making pickles tomorrow, as well as mowing the grass jungle. And pick and can beans, if they're dry enough to pick tomorrow, it showered just before we got home. Don't have to be at work until Saturday.
