Is the name of the forum (Longbranch) named after the Saloon in Ennis MT?
I used to own a ranch there about 10 years ago.

I'm gonna guess it was named after the LongBranch Saloon   8)

Did Marshall Dillon and Miss Kitty live In Ennis, Montana?

Actually, they did!  ;D

The actors for Gunsmoke lived in Ennis and filmed in Virginia City which is about 20 miles away back in the 1960's.
The Longbranch is a saloon in Ennis. I am too young to remember many of the Gunsmokes series but their photos are all over the wall in the Ennis Longbranch. Apparently they were frequent visitors after a day's shooting of film.
