45-60 buffalo
« on: June 19, 2016, 11:01:22 AM »
Hi, guys!  First of all, Happy Father's Day!  Hope you have a good one!  Second, I have a strange question.  It seems I heard a long time ago that the 1876 in 45-60 was used, admittedly seldom, in buffalo hunting, and was the only lever action rifle that was ever used successfully in the buffalo slaughter.  Does anybody know if that's correct, or am I just dreaming it?  Please let me know if anybody else has heard that.  I'd hate to think I'm crazy, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. ???
