That's neat.  I have seen several Darne sliding breach models.  Never saw this one before.

That's pretty Darne clever.  (Sorry, the devil made me do that.)

It looks like a workable system and the Darne sliding breech guns are a pleasure to use once one gets used to how it works.

Forty Rod, I recently picked up a 20 ga. Darne for Partridge hunting.  Any tricks or idiosyncrasies I should know about?  Don't really care for the safety, but otherwise, I like it.
